Marriage prior to 1837

Hello folks,
I have found my ancestors marriage:
Pallots marriage index
William Wright
Mary Ann Fuller
St John Hackney 1830

Would there be anywhere that I could find out any more information
regarding the marriage or is that the most that I will get to know i.e.

roy.stockdill...

An index is precisely what it says - an INDEX only and not necessarily the
full details.

There may well be more information in the parish register, so you will
have to check it.. Certainly there should be a precise date and possibly
some details of the couple, ie the man's occupation and whether they
were both of that parish or if one of them was from another parish. Some
marriages in Pallot were taken from records of licences issued but which
never actually took place.

I thought that the index may be all that there was to know!
I shall try to visit the LMA or my local LDS to see if I can glean any
more information that may be available.

Look up Hackney St John in the LDS library catalogue to see if copies of the
parish registers of bishop's transcripts are available.
