Could some kind soul look up the following for me please
William Wheatley born abt 1830 , living in the civil parish of West
Bromwich, Staffordshire
I Know in 1852 he married Leah Spittle at Saint Thomas in Dudley but I
don't know his parents

His father should be noted on the marriage certificate. (It costs
money to see the legal entry, but the parish register might be
available somewhere, or through the LDS at a slight charge, if you
think he married in church.)

Thank you very much for any help you can give.

None of the people above shown as "Son-in-law" or "Daughter-in-law" are
married, so presumably they are the children of Mary, whereas Benjamin
(son), is presumably Benjamin's child. The others are probably the children
of Mary and Benjamin.

Thanks Jeff, for this
Once again I have more questions than answers, but that is all part of
the fun.
Cross referencing all the Wheatleys, the Father of the Wheatleys was
William who was married to a Mary.
Also a Mary Wheatley married a Benjamin Ward in Dudley in 1850
So if this is taken as read all the Wheatleys belong to Mary and all
the Wards belong to Benjamin, which means they were an 1850s Brady
Bunch
