help finding a marriage...

Im trying to find a marriage possibly around 1860 for a CHARLES ROWE born
(newton heath) manchester, and a MARY C(B)OYLE born Ireland.I have tried the
1861 census but cant find either of them.

In the 1871 census they show as married and living in Chester, both aged 31
years old.They show as having 3 children the eldest a William H Rowe aged 8
years and born in Manchester the 2 youngest aged 7 and 3 were both born in
Chester.

Try the marriage records, this will give you the information you are looking
for, the census will not tell you when or where they married, and they could
have been out of the country when the census was taken.
