Peter...
I've found my great grandfather in the 1891 census for Morriston,
Swansea (Mis transcribed as Dennis Richard Owen - not Dennis Richard
Hone) RG 12/4472 4a 117/83

He is shown as living, as a boarder, at Temple Terrace, Morriston - I
think this may be the present day Fagwr Place, which is a continuation
of Tirpenry Street and joins on to Sway Road.

Can anyone please confirm this or if not, point me towards where
Temple Terrace was?

for local knoowledge use the notice boards and best the rootsweb list
for the pre 1974 county

web-search
glamorgan rootsweb list

browse the archives to get an idea of how much email to expect
runs at 500 to 1000 messages a month

you may find someone living close by who will take a picture for you

Glamorgan FHS is paranoid about free look ups in order to protect their
commercial interests
and

so the list is not as helpful as some
but I was vey happy and grateful for the help I got

In two years time whem the NLW and GSU parish registers of wales imaging
and indexing project is approaching completion I hope that the FHS of
Wals do not have too much stock of fiche on their hands
