How can U.S. resident arrange payments in pound sterling for documents

Can someone give me advice about preferred methods of arranging for
these payments when the payor is in the U. S.? In many cases, the entity receiving payment cannot accept payment by credit/debit cards, and checks must be payable on a London or other British City bank. Ken Gibb...
