Has anyone tried and failed to get into FamilySearch today? I've been
trying for some time and get a message saying "The page cannot be
displayed" and "Cannot find server or DNS error".

Me too. I'm having the same trouble with DejaPower search as well -
don't know whether there's a connection.
Still,m idf others are having the same trouble, it probbakly isn't my
computer

I found it down some time ago but only for about 30 minutes.

Just wondered if it is currently down for maintenance or whether it's
a problem on my PC? It always happens just when you need it!

I think you are right! I've just tried with no luck either. It was fine
yesterday so shall we just assume they adding a few thousand new records
:-)).

Yes, it's down for maintenance. There was a notice on the site
yesterdday saying some sections would be down for 48 hours.
