Joe Bloggs...
Is there any site on which you can look up marriages for the lates 1800s by
a name and it will give you the spouses name? It's just I have quite a few

It's no help for Lancashire, but I've found
They have transcribed a lot of the Derbyshire registrar's indexes and
if you find your marriage on there it not only tells you the spouses'
name, but also where the marriage took place. So if you can get access
to the parish register film you can look the marriage up without
paying £7 for the certificate.

The site is pay per view by voucher. To see the details costs just a
few pence per record.

marriages coming up and so, want to be sure i'm ordering the correct
certificate.

It is for a James FORAN who married a female named Anne, around the 1880s
era. I am assuming the wedding would have taken place in Lancashire.

FreeBMD does.
Search for a name and on hit list click the page number against name

This will then give all the people with that reference
Late 1800s usually 4 - 2 couples - earlier up to 8 people

You could also search with Anne in the spouse name field.

FreeBMD is a transcription and may not be complete
You can check the coverage under information
