My name is David Philpott, and I live in Ashford, Kent.
My father was Ronald Philpott (married to my mother Joyce Bannister but subsequently divorced) and he had 2 brothers (Albert and Derek) and 3 sisters (Rita, Pauline and Gladys). His father was Ernest and Ernest was married to, but subsequently divorced from Annie ( these were the days when people did not get divorced). Ernest (my grandfather) worked for the railways. The family were located in Bermonsdsey before the war but settled on the Downham Estate, South London/ Kent borders after the war. I think Albert (my Uncle) was in the Crayford area when last I heard, Derek was in Portugal, Rita had passed away, Gladys Portsmouth and Pauline Crawley. Any help on tracing any of these and also establishing Ernest's mother and fathers name would be appreciated. CWatters...
