GDAY:) im in Australia researching a Direct Line of D'ACRE that went to Ireland from France in late 1600s...Some anglicised it in Ireland to DEAKER
Anyone researching D'ACRE name in UK Please

Peter Goodey...
I don't dispute what you say but presumably you're aware of the English
surname DACRE which to the best of my knowledge dates back to long before
the late 1600s.

Don Aitken...
The best-known family of that name took it from the village of Dacre
in Cumbria. The barony of Dacre, created for Ranulph de Dacre in 1321,
still exists, although it passed out of that family in 1458.

Thankyou
Cathy:)

Ken Gibb...
