This doesn't seem to auger well for memorial inscriptions:

What do you think?

David Wright...
"if there are no surviving relatives who object"

And they are going to be able to check this how?

myths...
In a churchyard in France I've seen notices on variuous graves saying
that if there are no objections in a defined period they will reuse
the grave. Relatives seem to be given about 4 years to notice.

CWatters...
Humm... buy 20 and lease for 100 years = £120,000.... then build a house.
Got yourself a bargin pad in the City of London :-)

Anne Chambers...
When they say "re-use gravestones", do they mean that the original
inscriptions will be destroyed ? If not i.e. if they are just going to
put more bodies in and add inscriptions, that seems OK. I doubt if the
original inhabitants will complain ;)
