Can someone please inform me where the school records including admission
rolls are archived for Orpington Boys School, Charterhouse Road, Orpington,
Kent. The school no longer exists.

Try Kent County Records Office.

I would not assume such records survive.

If they do the likely source is the Kent Archives

...or possibly Bromley Local Studies & Archives.
But A2A doesn't throw anything up.

Yes, Bromley Local Studies:
Bromley Archives online Catalogue from the panel on the right and work
your way to a search box. Put charterhouse school in the Anytext box
and select Word Options: And.
The list shows that they have admission registers from 1957 to 1984,
but not online. Maybe other things too if you ask, as the online
catalogue isn't complete.
Don't rule out Kent completely, as the location of many records that
should have been transferred from KEC/KCC to Bromley in 1965 is a great
local mystery :-(

As you suggest, Chris, tracking down records relating to the historic
county of Kent can be a nightmare. There must be half a dozen different
Records Offices where records might be (I'm thinking of records in general
rather than any one specific type).

Researching Penge, Anerley, London SE20, and neighbouring parts of
Beckenham, Kent.

A very quick look suggests you might be out of luck.
