willers...
My grandmother was born 1 Nov, 1885, 2nd of four in Walpole St Andrew, Nfk.
In 1888 her youngest sister was born, the mother died in childbirth and 2
of the 4 children including my grandmother were farmed out to relatives. I
have found the other three but I cannot find my grandmother in 1891 in spite
of my best efforts on Ancestry although I have found her in 1901. In 1901
she is: Ada Carnell servant 15 help dom. b. Walpole St Andrew and located in
Pokesdown, Hampshire. (RG13/1037 Folio 116 p 6)
At various times the name Carnell has been spelt Carnal, Carnel, Carwell,
Carmell etc. but still 1891 defeats me.
Would anyone care to give it a try and put me out of my misery one way or

Steven Gibbs...
There is an Alfred Carwell, "Neice" (sic), aged 5, female, in Terrington
St Clement. It may be worth checking out.
