You should learn to use web-search before asking trivial questions.

And why couldn't you find that for yourself????

That's no problem.
Unfortunately asking questions like that does irritate some people, however
there are people who have just started and don't know what web-search is or have
no idea how to proceed and are put off by negative responses. Possibly it
would be better for those who are irritated not to answer at all rather than

I entirely agree (see the earlier thread I started a few weeks ago on
rudeness). It's also possible that information like this may be well known
to some people here who can therefore supply it with a minimum of effort.
searching the web can sometimes be quite time-consuming and frustrating, with a lot
of false trails.

Giving it more positively I agree to, but "searching the web" is not to
difficult. Type a first word like "census" and look at only the fist
page. If the wanted result isn't there add another word to the search
etc. I seldomly look at the second or further pages in web-search, only when
"the question asked" is what I really want to know.

So - someone should make an effort, however minimal, to help you because
you won't make an initial effort to help yourself ? web-search first, then
ask if you can't find the answer (tell people what you have already
done) and you will find you get a lot more help.

Yes, sometimes it's hard to think of the right words to find the right
results
without there being several thousand hits.

Or at least to offer their "informative" responses in a more actually
instructive, and less critical, manner.
Its not a sign of weakness to say "the answer you're looking for
is............but bear in mind for future requests that
sometimes resources such as web-search can be your friend"
Of course, that would remove the opportunity to be patronising and
sarcastic, which is often the actual objective, although rarely the
sole result, of the respondent's reply

If you are using Outlook Express you can solve the problem easily.
Go to Tools - Block Sender
Then you don't even see the comments posted by that person.
