I was just wondering if someone in Britain could point me in the right
direction. I am about to depart "down under" for the UK and hope to be
able to fit in a little research. I am wanting to find out more about
a John Benson, Convict. His trial was held at the Nottingham Assizes
on 3 March 1832. He was born in 1811. His native place was
Nottingham. Where would be the best place to start finding out about
his trial and his family?

BENSON per Mary111 (4) has been claimed on the Claim
a Convict web site

You could be re inventing the wheel but not thoroughly
researching the records available here first
