You sent this same message less than a month ago and received 3 replies,
which suggested you give more information ....
Instead you have just copied the original message. What will that achieve?
May I add that the responses you did receive came from 2 very
experienced subscribers and me, who ain't chopped liver ......

Liz -
What a lovely expression, which I have not previously heard.
Reminds me of the most delicious (thinly sliced) calves' liver and bacon
with caramelized onion sauce that I had last week in a local pub ....
Yours Aye Andrew Sellon

Though it's some time ago now, I have a slight recollection that I was
one who responded to this chap and told him there were 180 Freemans
in Norwich in the 1881 census (* source Surname Atlas). It seems there
are some people you just can't help.

And you never followed up or said even a cursory thanks ......

Gerry, it will help others to help you if you provide as much information as
you possibly can e.g. full names, names of spouses if known, dates and where
you have searched to date.
