HO107 piece 2080 folio 225 page 28 census image entry for Thomas
Hobson (5th line down). For his occupation it seems to be saying he
farms 240 acres of something or other and 5 something or other agr.

land?

labs. and 2 boys.

1. Can anyone make out what is written?
2. Does this mean that there were 5 agr labs. and 2 boys which were
not named on the census?

cerberus...
Thanks to all who replied for the clarification.

Eve McLaughlin...
They will be named, but not necessarily here. They worked for the
farmer, and the 5 adults at least would be living in their own cottages.
The boys might live in the farm (see if any lads with differemt surnames
are there as 'servanmt' or farm servant.) They might live with their
parents, or board with the adult labourers.

john...
It looks like
Farmer of 240 Acres Empl 1 in
door and 5 Out door Agr Lab
with 2 Boys

All but one of the labourers and boys are probably in their own homes
and covered elsewhere in the census. Otherwise they would have been
listed at this address; one Agr Lab, Byron Marlow, Team Man is listed at
the address.
