because they don't have any test search for us to check it

and further down they mention name indexes
which are not transcriptions

the terms and conditions are paranoid about sharing

their good reputation?

I don't think so. The US site looks entirely scrupulous to me and
completely separate from the UK one -- a professional researcher and
author based in Boston and specializing in research in New England.

It is another of S&Ns spin off sites, possible something to do with the
UK tax law at a guess.
S&N have been on the family history scene in the UK for many years and
during that time have produced many fine products.
