Simon Dean...
Are there any BMD Indexes etc for Irish information? I have a couple of
relatives that potentially came from Ireland... and or got married there.

Charles Ellson...
Films of older indexes are available at Mormon/LDS family history
centres, some as permanently held stock (Staines FHC used to keep a
lot). You are possibly stuck if you want Northern Ireland indexes or
recent Irish Republic indexes.

Im aware of a Mary Ann Hardy having a couple of children with a Thomas
Watson circa 1852. And yet, Im unable to find any indication of a
marriage between Thomas and Mary, and Mary is indicated to have been
born in 1821 roughly in Ireland.

Obviously... certificates can be wrong due to giving false information
(colloquially known as lying, which I have no problem with, I just call
a spade a spade, for anybody still sniffing my posts), or events not
reported? You know, for example, someone doesn't get married, but says
they're married on their childrens birth certificate.

Im not sure I have the right information from the Censuses, and I
completely lost my thread on this, but I think that *if* they did get
married, they got married after 1841.

The children were Hannah Watson, born 1852, and William Watson born
1855. William was born in Bradford, Yorkshire.

So her, any thoughts on where else to look? I feel I've exhausted the
BMD's for the UK...
