Search in Morroco??

Is it possible to search for a Marcelle Grux in Morroco with only the
parents names. I'm assuming that Grux was her married name. She was
born in Laissey Doubs France and was 84 years old in 1991. There may
be a chance she is still alive as that side of the family lived well
into age of 90's. My godfather is adamant she moved to morroco with my
great grand parents and died and was buried there. However my Mother
said she went to my greatgrandfathers grave at Laissey.

If they are right that she was buried, then I hope she isn't still alive!

It occurs to me that she/her family may have had a telephone
if she was alive in 1991. Perhaps there is a collection of old phone
books that can be consulted.

France must have a civil registration system which might have been=20
applied to their former colonies

You probably have to go to Marocco and Laissey to be certain by=20
searching local records in mss (if they survive)
