Thank you for your trouble, I was hoping to be able to untangle part of
my family that have done a disappearing trick by adopting the HARRIS
surname.
Looks as if I will now have to try another tack and hope I am able to
get some more information that way.

Yes you are correct about Diabetes being able to jump a generation in
the family, being informed about the disease and knowing how the take
precautions to limit it's effect can improve the long term outlook.

Hope you have success in sorting out your family ties.
