I've just been looking at the FRC site, and it seems that
the bookshop there now stocks various vouchers.
I knew they had the 1901 census vouchers and !837 Online
vouchers there, but I didn't realise that it was possible to buy
vouchers for FFHS Family History Online and Ancestry.co.uk
there too.

Pardon me for mentioning this, but if you joined the Guild of One-Name
Studies you can get 15 per cent off the 1901 vouchers and 10 per cent
off 1837online services by buying them from the Guild's Bookstall ! That
is the just one of many other benefits (including, of course, an award-
winning Journal).

That assumes one is doing a one-name study and can also spare the time
to answer queries.

And if I remember correctly a 12 pound membership fee + 12
pounds to register a name.
Not unreasonable.

Would joining the SOG have similar benenfits?
