I was given an email addy that ended @yahoo.com.uk

It bounced -- “unrouteable address.”

So I lost the m and tried again. It bounced. “unrouteable address.”

Ummmm, any other suggestions?

Anne Chambers...
I have a friend with a yahoo.co.uk email address - it seems to be
working OK.

Jill...
yahoo.com
maybe its the uk that is the blind?

Jeff...
Sorry, I missed the part of your message about losing the "m"

But something is odd here.

"Unrouteable address" should not occur with the "m" gone even if there
is no such user.

May sound like a dumb question but, did you type the address or cut & paste?

Sometimes there can be "invisible" chars after C&P.

T.M. Sommers...
It doesn't seem to be accepting connections on port 25 (the mail=20
port) at the moment; instead of connecting or refusing to=20
connect, it just hangs. Not much you can do about that. The=20
host is alive, though; it responds to pings.

Jeff...
Yep... yahoo.co.uk

Ye Old One...
Well some of their web pages have an address that ends in yahoo.uk.com
so you could try that.
