TomAlciere...
Greetings:

I am announcing a new genealogy site consisting of an index of entries
in published (on the web) GEDCOM files.

David Wilkinson...
You can search for surnames or for individuals and then be taken directly
to the website where the database resides.

And no, you don't have to purchase or use TNG to use this site.

Hugh Watkins...
GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program. If you have a problem
with a particular entry, please contact the submitter of said entry. You
have full control over your GEDCOM. You can change or remove it at any
time.

<< you need to add something similar

or why are you trying to reinvent the wheel?

Hugh W

Entries are grouped geographically, with some detail to help you see if
it's your Mordecai LINCOLN or a different one. If you think it's yours,
click on the link to download the GEDCOM file off somebody else's site,
and open a new folder in your genealogy software to import it into.

For those who don't know it, GEDCOM files are special genealogy files
readable by almost any genealogy software.

Joe Pessarra...
Is there any way we can search the whole site at once to find a surname, or
must we check each individual town in each country? Thanks for a reply.
