Hello Listers,
I have FTM 2005. Somehow, I have managed to put in a marriage twice, same
people, same parents. The husband and wife do not appear twice in the
alphabetical listing. How do I merge the marriages? Thanks in advance for
any help.

Note I don't use FTM so this method is theoretical:
I'm assuming you have some how managed to marry person A to person B
twice so they both appear to be married twice, to each other.
1. Disconnect, in turn, each of their children making a note of who
they are, then
2. Disconect the two people who you have married twice, then
3. Connect the two people and add the correct marriage details, then
4. Connect each of their children in turn.
This method should universally work, should retain all person
numbering (RINs etc) and avoid the application auto generating any
parents and/or spouses for anybody.

how do you see the second marriage then?
If in a tree it may be a duplicate auto generated to enable other stuff
to fit on the page
if multiple spouses check the children ar step or natural under people
