I am working on a one-hour documentary special about the Battle of the
Plains of Abraham, to be broadcast on History Television in the winter of
2006. Our show is part of a larger three-part series exploring historic
Canadian conflicts through a genealogical perspective. These films will
focus on the search for living descendants of participants of these
conflicts, to be guided by internationally recognized historians and
genealogists.

Why focussing on the last battle ? That war lasted many more monthes.

We are currently conducting an extensive search for living descendants of
those involved in the 1759 events. We are looking for people of
French/British/Scottish/Native/Canadian decadency. It is not necessary that
descendants have extensive knowledge of their ancestor or the history, just
that there is proof of ancestry and that a kernel of curiosity is there
regarding their role in the event. Undoubtedly it helps if there is a wealth
of family legend about the individual, but we will be employing professional
genealogists and historians to uncover the missing links in story and family
as they relate to the ancestor.

What is your reference list ? The list of Larry Roux, the microfilms
from French archives, something else ? And are your professional
genealogists located in Toronto or somewhere in Quebec (much much more
data available to check anything).
