Thank you very much for your replies and suggestions.

Yes, looking through the actual Drouin films of the church records is
an odd way to go about this . . .

Here is my problem:
Antoine (Antoine-Felix??) MÉNARD-BELLEROSE, a widower of Isable Yon,
married Marie-Catherine LA FONTAINE-PION on 19 October 1812 in St.
Hyacinthe. There is no marriage listed with any spelling or "dit" for
Antoine and an Isabel/Elisabeth YON/GUION/DION/LEMOINE/ETC. I've
looked at the actual records and many folks have been very kind and
helped me with translations, but I didn't find any information to help
me in my quest. Antoine died in St.-Pie-de-Bagot on 23 October 1836.
His three children by his second marriage, Olivier, Libère, and
Antoine-Felix, all married in St.-Pie-de-Bagot. As far as I can tell,
he didn't have any children by his first marriage.

The closest that I've been able to find is an Elizabeth Gaze/Gance, who
died in St.-Hyacinte about 1808.

Denis Beauregard...
Married 1807-02-09 St-Hyacinthe (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire)
she is widow of Pierre Martin

Leading to

[71791] MARTIN, Pierre (Louis Charles & Élisabeth MARTEL)
* mariés 1798-05-21 Montréal (Notre-Dame) (Québec)
GANSE, Marie Élisabeth (Christophe & Marie Cunégonde ROY)

That Élisabeth was 18, so born about 1780. So

Elisabeth, n 11 b 13-05-1780 Québec
from Christophe GANS, Marie CONDA (Cunégonde is a bad reading)

My feeling is this one is a German soldier and then can't be your
Guyon/Yon/Lemoyne IF SHE IS A GUYON. So you should check the
record of 1812. My guess is that she is not a GUYON but a GANSE.

I'm related to Antoine MÉNARD-BELLEROSE through his son, Antoine-Felix
MÉNARD-BELLEROSE, who married Adeline Marie PROULX on 11 May 1841 in
St.-Pie-de-Bagot. Their great-grandson/grandson, my great-grandfather
Wilfred/Alfred LeMOINE, settled in Indian Orchard, Springfield,
Hampden, Massachusetts, in the 1890's. In 1900, Wilfred/Alfred LeMOINE
married Harriette Josephine DUQUETTE, a member of the GAUTHIER/GOKEY
family of Indian Orchard.

I hope that by looking through the Church records, I may find some
Baptismal records with the name Antoine, or find possible siblings that
I can link to Antoine later in his life, or figure out where he
probably wasn't. I also wonder if he lived in French territory that
went to the Americans and he then relocated, eventually, to Québec.
I'm open to any possiblity at this point.

How do I find deed records/renter info for Québec so that I may plot
some farms to see if the vicinity lends any clues?

I've looked through yards of published materials on the shelves as well
as the Drouin and Loiselle indices, and I'm baffled.

Thank you again for your help.
