Awhile back I started another topic about looking for any information
about the Tiedeken name. I received no response so I am trying again. I know there are supposedly two strains of Tiedeken's from a specific German town. How they are not related seems impossible. Is the last name Tiedeken that popular? Nonetheless,I have received information from other sources in regards to both strains but I still am not sure where my family falls in. My family,from what I know,has always stayed on the east coAast,New Jersey and Philadelphia area to be specific. I know there are several that live in the midwest area but if they are directly related is unclear. There seems to be some unresolved family history that makes communication on a certain level,impossible. If anyone has any information or can lead me in the proper direction,I would be very grateful.
