Eifel Region GEISTER, KLESGES

I am an American descendant of Rhinelanders from the Eifel, my
gt-gt-grandfather Andreas Geister and gt-gt-grandmother Margaret (nee)
Klesges.

Other names are Heinen, Cremer, Achen, Weber.

The Geisters raised a family beginning in 1860, in Budesheim, north of
Prum, and three sons migrated to America in the 1870s and 80s.

I have almost everything I could find from Tom Pick's good page on the
Eifel. - very helpful and recommended.

But there is a member of this list, Andreas Sesterhenn, who is a
relative, and I have been unable to contact him by email.

Andreas! I need inside information. I hope you are still following
the list

Both towns are located in the surroundings of Bonn.
The distance between Bonn and Mainz is about 170 km (100 miles).
Having that distance between the place of work and the place of living
and assuming the distance beeing made twice a day, I would regard as
very uncommon. The probability meeting your conditions is far higher
with the Koblenz address.
