Hoffmann Family in Brazil

I'm looking for my ancestors for a long period,but no positive results
were found because my great-grandfather, that started the family in
Brazil, has no correct register of his name available.

I've been asking for help of all the entities envolved with
ancestry,even in USA and Germany.
I suppose that his name proenomen is wrong and in that way is
impossible to accomplish a correct ressearch.
You are my last hope; for a possible help you culd give me wiil you
find here under the few data I have of the pioneer of the Family
Hoffmann in our country:

Name : Julio Hoffmann (?)
Date of arrival : at about 1857 (?)
Name of my great-grandmother : Elizabeth Aains - Is said that they
met together during the immigration trip
to Brazil.
Place of eradication : Campinas, a big city 100km far
from S=E3o Paulo, the most powerful city of
our coutry.
Lineage : His first son - my
grandfather- had his baptism cerimony in 02 october
1859 and got married in
31 august 1892. His name was Ad=E3o Hoffmann.
My grandmother was
Leonor Prado Hoffmann and belonged to the famous
family Prado of
Campinas.
They had 11 sons, only
one daughter is alive.
My father was Octavio
Prado Hoffmann, who lived in S=E3o Paulo until 1973
wehn he died.
My name is Jos=E9 Octavio Hoffmann, I'm 68 years old, and live in
Guaruj=E1, a wonderful beach, 85 km far ftom S=E3o Paulo.
