Romano/Romanello Orsini, (j. ux.) Count of Nola (d. aft. 1326) who was his mother?

Davide Shamà's, _Genealogie delle dinastie nobili Italiane_,
(died after 1314), signore di Pitigliano, Senator of Rome. All three
wives have at various times been ascribed as the wife by whom Gentile
Orsini fathered Romano/Romanello Orsini, Conte di Nola - ancestor to a
number of us.

Candidate 1 (Shamà): Romano/Romanello's mother was Simonetta ---.

"Gentile (II) (+ post 1314), Signore di Pitigliano, Vicovaro,
Cantalupo, Roccagiovine, Bardella etc. e Nobile Romano, Senatore di Roma
nel 1280, 1286/1287, 1300, 1304 e 1306, Podestà di Orvieto 1301, Gran
Giustiziere del Regno di Napoli nel 1297, Capitano Giustiziere
dell'Abruzzo nel 1296, Rettore del Patrimonio nel 1299.

a) = Simonetta (probabilmente una nobildonna romana)
b) = Clarice Ruffo, figlia di Pietro II 2° Conte di Catanzaro e di
Giovanna d'Aquino dei Conti d'Acerra (v
c) = Giacoma, figlia di Giovanni Pierleoni, Nobile Romano

Nola e Soano dal 1292 ca., Gran Giustiziere del Regno di Napoli, Vicario
Regio di Roma nel 1326; Signore di Pitigliano, Cantalupo, Vicovaro,
Roccagiovine, Bardella, Nettuno, Sorano, Manciano, Saturnia e
Montemerano; Signore di Atripalda, Forino, Boiano, Monfort, Cicala e
Avella, Nobile Romano.
= 6-6-1293 Anastasia de Montfort, figlia ed erede di Guido Conte di
Soana e Nola e di Margherita Aldobrandeschi"

Candidate 2 (Douglas Richardson's, _Plantagenet Ancestry_, pp. 446-7):
Romano/Romanello's mother was Jacopa, daughter of Giovanni Pierleoni.

Candidate 3 (familysearch.org's "Pedigree Resource File"): shows in
several entries Romano/Romanello's mother as Clarice Ruffo.

I note Douglas Richardson cites _Genealogist_ n.s. (1895): 244, 247-8.
Perhaps this article (to which I do not have access) is the source for
his statement that Romano's mother was Giacoma/Jacopa Pierleoni. As in
the past, I suspect that Shama's identification derives from Litta.

I would be most grateful for an authoritative identification.
