I am researching "Wolfram von Straub" and hope this group might be able to
help. The sources quoted below are the extent of the information that I have
except that I do have a copy of the coat of arms that was painted by some
remote relative, probably in the earlier part of the 1900s.

What is the blazon or description of the coat of arms?

I would like to know if anyone has any information to prove the existence of
Wolfram and of course would like to receive any further info anyone can
share.
Note that two of the references refer to different crusades so this might be
an issue. The painting of the crest that I have bears the date of 1147.

Coats of arms were only invented as unique person identifiers around
1130-1150, through they mushroomed in a big way once the movement
started.
Anyhow crests were not a feature of very early arms, though they did
come in quite quickly. (Crests are as in birds, the thing that goes on
top of the head.) So I doubt the veracity of the painting.

Thanks in advance for anything that anyone might have.
