Looking for information on the Eden family

Hello again,

I'm looking to see if there are any good sources out there for finding
information on the ancestors/family of Sir Robert Eden, 1st Baronet of
West Auckland. All I've been able to find so far is ancestry file
numbers from familysearch.org. What I have read so far is this:

That his parents were John Eden (1616-1675) and Katherine Layton
(1618-1686).

John Eden's parents were Robert Eden (1590-1662) and Anne Bier
(1594-?).

Robert Eden's parents were John Eden (1571-1625) and Margery Welbury
(1575-?).

John Eden's parents were Robert Eden (1548-?) and Jane Hutton (1552-?)

And so on, and so forth...

I'm trying to connect a possible daughter of Sir Robert Eden, Margaret
Eden (1673-?) with Marjory Welbury, the possible daughter of Anthony
Welbury (1549-?) and Anne Bulmer (1552-1624).

The information could be accurate, or it could be a lot of phooey.
Ancestry.co.uk does not seem to have much information on them except
user made family trees. I would think that with Castle Eden being an
important site in Durham there would be more concrete information out
there, but its all the same trees.

Any ideas of where to start?
