A day or two ago [depending on your time zone!], Brad Verity provided two Plantagenet descents for Robert Markenfield (d. 1541) who mar. Alice Markenfield and was ancestor of Richard Saltonstall of Mass. and Anne Mauleverer Abbott of New Jersey. These descents bring Plantagenet ancestry to the family of Mauleverer of Wothersome two generations earlier than is shown in RPA/PA3.
Two generations AFTER Robert Mauleverer, RPA shows his grandson William Mauleverer as mar. to Eleanor Aldburgh, dau. of Richard Aldburgh and Eleanor Goldesborough. Although Eleanor is not indicated by RPA to be of Plantagenet descent, I believe that descents can in fact be traced for both of her parents. I've outlined below the additional descents for both parents. Some of these links could probably benefit from better support, but this is a start. Comments [pro or con] will be welcome....

Dear John,
The line above also has a descent from Edward III thru Generation E3
Katherine Stillington, Dame Ingleby:
Edward III
1) Joan Beaufort, Countess of Westmorland (c.1379-1440), had
2) Elizabeth Ferrers, Lady Greystoke (1393-1434), who had
3) Anne Greystoke (d. 1477) m. Sir Ralph Bigod of Settrington
(1410-1461), and had
4) Agnes Bigod (living 1510; m. 2nd, Marmaduke Vavasour) m. 1) Thomas
Stillington of Acaster Selby, Yorkshire (d. by 1500), and had
5) Katherine Stillington m. Sir William Ingleby of Ripley [E3 above]
6) Agnes Ingleby m. Richard Goldesborough of Goldesborough, and had
7) Thomas Goldesborough m. Jane Boynton, and had
8) Eleanor Goldesborough m. Richard Aldburgh, and had
9) Eleanor Aldburgh m. William Mauleverer of Wothersome
That gives Eleanor Aldburgh (1553-1642, number 9 above), wife of
William Mauleverer of Wothersome (1556-1618), and grandmother of Anne
Mauleverer Abbott of New Jersey, two lines from Edward III - the one
through her mother given above, plus the one you have pointed out (thru
her paternal grandmother Jane Mauleverer of Wothersome, wife of Richard
Aldburgh).
Cheers, --------Brad
