Jpdfo1982...
I'm looking for some ancestors of mine.

In September 1695, a boy was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was called
Jacob Jacobsen Ziska. His father was called Jacob Ziska. Now, I'm not
sure, if he was Danish himself, or he was from somewhere further south.

The point is, that I'd like to know, if anyone here knew anything about
this Jacob Ziska, who might well have been a Bohemian or from somwhere
in Central Europe.

Adalbertus...
You have to look for "JAN ZISKA" - Hussite leader in XIV-XV c.

Karel Sandler...
"Jan Zizka", both Z with ^, at least according today's czech grammar.
Phonetically it is almost the same as Z^is^ka. But, for example, looking
into some phone directory, the difference is important of course.

Thanks so much for your help.
