Marilyn Horner...
I'm interested in this Adam wilson. How do I obtain informatin about the
slave register?

myths...
I look at Slave Registers at the National Archives in Kew, London.

The catalogue is online at

myths...
Try searching at
for
slave AND register
Within the results, go for catalogue reference
T
and then (Subsubseries within T 71 )
SLAVE REGISTERS
Then select button "Browse from here"
and go through the pages until you find the parish / date of interest.

All you get is the reference of the enormous book that can be seen at
Kew.

They consist of the name of the person presenting the information, the
plantation and owner (if different from the informant), and a list of
the slaves - gender, name(s), age, black/white mix, born locally or in
Africa, and a comment column, which I have only seen used for name of
mother (if still on the plantation) and (once or twice) the word
"runaway". I think it unlikely there is more information there about
Adam Wilson than has already been posted.

from the Jamaican Archives.
