Don't go Up in Flames with the Bird

Countdown showed a demonstration of turkey frying gone
spectacularly wrong. They had flames flying six feet in all
directions from the pot. Unfortunately I was watching from the
kitchen and didn't catch the recipe, except for something about
thawing.

Anyone abusing a Turkey carcass by frying it deserves what they get!

We bought one of the darn fryers a couple years ago and the turkey
tastes so darn goooooood.

But, I have to use it out in back yard at some distance from
everything else and am as nervous as a long tailed cat at an old folks
home with big front porch full of rocking chairs.

Also, it takes a lot of oil that is not much good after using. It
gets a great deal of fat from turkey in the oil that makes it unusable
for other cooking.

I wanna fry one next week. Yum. But, if I disappear, you may suspect
something went wrong.
