Sir Frederick...
Go here :
The product really works.
Used to get two shaves from a blade,
now twenty.

Lawrence Akutagawa...
Some forty years ago, got pretty much the same results by passing the blade
end of the razor under a stream of very hot water, shaking off the excess
water, and storing the razor blade end down in a small container of baby
oil. A whole lot less expensive than this gizmo. The problem was that
over time the oil became mixed with tiny water droplets and small bits of
left over hair. Can't see from the writeup for this gizmo how it addresses
these aspects.

Harry Thompson...
I don't get it. I use one blade over and over until it pulls instead of cuts
whiskers.

Years ago, Charles McCabe of the old SF Chronicle had a column on this. He
claimed that frequent changing of blades was unnecessary and pushed by razor
blade companies (Gillette, Wilkinson, Schick, and a few others now having
bit the dust). McCabe recommended just using a blade until it doesn't work
any more.

Milage varies, but at worst I get more than two shaves per blade. Typically
I get up to a month or more.

Good ol' Charles McCabe. I miss his columns.

Rumpelstiltskin...
I miss 'em too.

William Boyd...
Just don't shave, grow a beard, wont buy many blades then.

Glenn...
Beat me to it.

I get the cheap disposable razors (10/$) and usually get 3 to 15
shaves, about 10 average. I assume you are talking disposable blades,
maybe you are buying ones that are too expensive.
