What I Experinced Today

Had to go see my doctor today. As usual, I had to wait an awful long
time...almost two hours. But a couple of things happened, that I thought I
would share with all of you.

One, on the seat next to me, there were two magazines. One was the Sierra
Club magazine, and the other was titled Ducks Unlimited. I thought what a

Because one is about shooting ducks, and I would imagine, the other would
not approve of the shooting of ducks?

strange combination of magazines....politically correct I assume .

You should have read the DU. They do a great deal for waterfowl
habitat. Would have opened your eyes.n

The other was, how they are now going to try and cut down on the doctors
visists. As I have told you before, I have a defibralator inside me. On my
visists, the doctor downloads the information that is stored in my
defibralator to see what has happened since my last visit. I did comment on
one of my prior visits, that is sure would be nice if I did not have to come
to see him, and could simply download the information myself. Well, that is
about to happen, since I am one of the test subjects, to try out a new
device, which will do exactly that. Will report to those who might be
interested, what my experiences are, if it is worthwhile. I did wonder if
this would really help the doctor. He said, he thought it would. The one
concern he has is, he has to check the data that is downloaded, which of
course is sort of forced on him when I show up at his office.
