A Fly In The Ointment?

Just heard on the news the US has about 30,000 illegal chinese in detention
centers. We want to return them to China, but so far China has refused to
accept them. Now, what do you suppose is going would happen in the Central
American countries all say, they will not accept the return of the illegals
from these countries?

Who said we want to return illegal aliens to Central America and
Brazil? (Don't forget Brazil -- they are #2 to Mexico.) We just don't
want any more -- at least more who come here illegally. As for the
Chinese -- we negotiate, and if they still won't take them back, we
keep them too. In fact, I suggest we send them all to Oahu.

I do not think we have the detention facilites to house them....at the state
level we certainly do not, since we send them to other states already....

That is interesting. I didn't know that. I wonder where in the
country they were picked up by immigration.

There are 39,000 as of 3-15-06 being detained at Federal expense. After 180
days they are just released.

They were picked up in all those churches following their 'moral
compass' as they were being handed out free food and receiving other
'humanitarian' assistance, below the radar.

But we got them, anyway.

I am willing to bet mostly in the west coast, but that is just a guess on my

I've read stories about them picking up illegal Chinese trying to enter the
country locked up in containers aboard ships, but those stories were
generally about relatively small numbers of people. 30,000?......I dunno.
