Sir Frederick...
Any experience with Inositol? Anyone?

Rumpelstiltskin...
I knows it all too, but not about Inositol.

Sir Frederick...
You are a troublemaker.

Rumpelstiltskin...
I saw a guy at Yosemite once with a shirt that said
"Retired. Knows everything, and has plenty of time
to tell you about it." I mentioned to my friend that I
should have a shirt like that, and he agreed
immediately, with a grim smile.

davesvideo...
This is true. I took it many years ago, and I don't remember why. Maybe
it was for memory?

Pineywoods Pete...
Never heard of it. But I've recently come to the conclusion that
the B complex is important to seniors. And anything that may help
high cholesterol is something I need.

"...Like choline, inositol helps to move fat out of the liver, and
helps prevent serious liver disorders, as well as disorders involving
high cholesterol. Serotonin and acetylcholine, two neurotransmitters,
both depend upon inositol, and supplementation..."

Rita...
I have quite given up sorting out what supplements I should take --
there seem to be an endless number that some "authorities" swear
are necessary for this or that. i just eat as many fruits and veggies
as I can manage, some whole grains, some low fat
dairy, olive oil, legumes , small amounts of meat (preferably
naturally raised without hormones or antibiotics), some fish and
let it go at that. All the hoopla about this supplement or that
leading to "longer life" seems to be to be comparable to a belief
in magic potents. I think the chance of my acquiring a serious
liver disorder is about nil, since I don't drink enough alcohol to
count. I'd rather spend my money on buying quality food than on
supplements.

"I-itis":

Rita...
They seem to be in the class of magic -- have faith in their efficacy
and you will be transformed.

1. The excessive use of I, my, and me; the habit of thinking, talking,
or writing too much of oneself.
2. Self conceit; boastfulness.
3. selfishness.
