An outfit called MyServiceAndSupport put a charge on my phone bill for
a phone card from agro solutions. They claimed I subscribed on the
internet. I am sure that I did not. They had a first name that I do not
use very much. =A0You phone company will not question the charge so you
just have to catch it by watching your bill(s).

You guys made me check my last phone bill. So far so
good, no unfamiliar piracy yet, just the familiar piracy such
as that fee that "is not a tax nor mandated by the
government" but which the government, doubtless after
some golfing conferences with legislators, lets AT&T
charge anyway. I did notice that the long distance
company I do use (101-68-68, which is about eight
cents a minute with no monthly fixed charges and no
"low service" fees) has now instituted a "billing fee". It
was only 12 cents, but it's more than twelve cents of
effrontery in my mind. Unfortunately they bill through my
local phone bill, so I can't try docking them twelve cents
for my "payment fee".

Thanks for letting us know about this. This seems like it would be
against the law. Can you prove that you didn't sign up online? Glenn, I

I realize that congress is always making things easier
for sleazy business practices, but I think it still holds that
"they" have to prove that "you" did sign on with them.

am with you regarding dropping the long-distance option. I switched to
using OneSuite about six months ago, and am quite happy with the
savings and the no surprises on my monthly phone bill. Sorry, back to
the subject. Where would the charge be located on the bill? And, did
the person who you spoke with indicate where you had signed up. Did you
speak to a phone rep or someone from this MyService company?
