widows. The people who are the enemy are those who gave him the
nomination in 2004.

In one sense, oh my yes. Watching Kerry's dismal attempt at verbal
agility reminded me of that unforgettable scene in "Good Morning,
Vietnam!" where the soldier begged his commanding officer not to
attempt radio comedy, and the CO grimly told him "In my heart, I KNOW
I'm funny."
However, even the lamest joke may have its uses. The Cheney
administration managed to remind Americans just before an election of
Rove's bunch of hired liars, the Swiftless Boat People. You'd think
that an admin that managed to insult hundreds of thousands of American
vets by calling into question the military services' record-keeping and
awarding of honors would know enough to shut up about it, once the
liars had been outed. But nooooo....
But this is Wednesday, the tallies are in, and it seems likely that
democracy can no longer be simply pounded down a republicon rubberstamp
rathole, so even that last-minute desperate Kerryfication seems to have
all worked out in the end.

I'm bored to tears with Kerry. He lost, he recently made a very
regrettable gaffe, he's history.

I guess more emoticons are needed. I was typing in a mood delight
and renewed confidence in gummint. After all, AFAICS, the whole K----
thing ended with people turning away in disgust from the prevaricators
who thumped that tub.

We have a slate of new players and let's let the threads on Kerry
die by not resonding to them and go on to something else.
