Rumpelstiltskin...
When will it stop? It's really been getting me down.

Islander...
First sunny day in over a month yesterday. Threatening rain again this
AM. Ground thoroughly saturated. The ruts and potholes in our road are
needing attention. Dogs tracking in mud. We are alternating between
high winds and heavy rain. Power has been out several times already
this winter.

But, the daffodils are budding. Chickens are laying more eggs than last
winter. Lots of firewood in the shed. House is warm and dry. Life is
good!

Glenn...
Too bad, we have been having the mildest, driest winter in our history.
No snow to speak of, rain maybe a few hours once a week. Temperature
highs in the thirties. Of course there's no truth to global warming, but
we sold all the lake front property to those cynics who thought there
might be. If this is too winterly for you, check out Iowa. Take the
riverboats to Chicago.

Sir Frederick...
Send some down here, we need it. Been dry.

Rumpelstiltskin...
Oh that's right, you're in what is now Ritaland, aren't you. Keep
an eye out for her, and try to resist any impulse to knock over
her trike.

Rita...
Oh, Sir Fred would never do that. Besides, he is way out in Poway,
I think, far from the beaches where I live.

Speaking of my trike, tho, I am so grateful to have it. My
spinal stenosis kicks up on a random basis and gives me back
pain when I walk more than a couple of blocks. With the trike
I have no pain and can cruise around and do my errands and just
ride for fun on the bike paths as well. I think a bike/trike is
perhaps a real blessing to folks with troublesome backs.

You'll be getting our water anyway, though I guess the
Angelinos are the main people who get "our" water.
We pee in it first.

I think I might hop up to Hetch-Hetchy at some point this
summer. Yosemite has gotten to be too much of a mob scene.
I'll drink several bottles of water first - oh, wait - no - that's
San Francisco's water! If I take Route 5, though, there will
be plenty of aqueducts flowing to LA along the way.
