Saw the ortho consultant on Friday - apparently when I had fluid in my

ankle and leg for almost a year - the tendon was stretched.
The fluid has gone, but, alas, the tendon is still stretched - so the
foot is rolling inwards.
I have to have a plastic splint - do not know if I will always have to
wear it, or whether it is until the tendon goes back to normal.
So am awaiting an appointment with the ortho fitters.

I am able to walk around indoors without a crutch now, but outdoors can
only do so for a few yards.

With luck I might be able to walk properly again

Me too Smokey - have to go back see the consultant in 3 months - so
perhaps it will not be too long

That's what the pain is that I am suffering from - where tendons and
ligaments are too long.
It hurts a lot!!

My foot tends to bend rapidly to the outside, did it the other day as I got
to the top of the stairs and I nearly went backwards down them!

Hopefully you will be able to get yours sorted. Hope so cos it's no fun to
have to stay like that.

Thanks, Pam - the tendon in the other ankle appears to have gone back
into position - only aches now and then.

Mine rolls inwards - and as I have flat feet it is rather a nuisance.

You are doing amazing, Pam - each day seems to see you achieving some
good results - an example to all of us :)

That is bad Anita I was complaining about my heel but i do hope its sorted
soon ;-))))
