Bet it will be soon. We've just had a bit more, and since tomorrow is
washday here I reckon we're due for quite a bit more very soon. :(

Yep, when it's the badminton season - ended for me yesterday - I have
washday on Wednesday. Having an old (30+ years) twin-tub, I do a double
load for the whole week. Rest of the year washday is any day suitable - ie
when it's dry, warm and sunny.

Since washing machines are now pretty much standard in all homes is
there still a dedicated "Washday", or do you just chuck it in the
machine when the washing bin is full?
When the kids were younger every day was washday.

'twas always Monday in our house. If anyone had washing out on the line on
