Yes, definitely rain on the gooses - it's pouring down out there.

And the high gusting wind that you lot have been having lately may have died
down for you but it's well and truly alive in the NW of England at the
moment. First bad wind we've had in a long time (no need for Rennies with
this wind!) and I'm looking at my Cupressus hoping it stays where it is. If
it blows over it will be straight across the road having taken a piece of
concrete & wood fencing with it!

But the temp is still Spring-like so it probably isn't as bad as everyone

You're not the only one. It's not pouring down here however, it's being
driven almost horizotally by the strong winds. And yes it's mild out there
as well 10.6°C (51.1°F) in my garden. Still feels cold inside though, so
I've got the fires lit.
