Looks and sounds as if you had a lovely day Val.
Good piccies. Shame you couldn't get any pictures of the food. We
vertically challenged people have a difficult time in crowds, don't we?

And the foodie stalls were interesting as well, ah never mind, I did manage
to take some good pics of food and stuff and this afternoon's outing tho -
more details later:)

festive foody occasion is turned out to be! We came home with a few
delicacies - three terrines in pots - Terrine Porc ave Herbes de
Provence, Terrine of Venison, and Terrine of Duck with Olives - Mmmmmmmm
Also a wonderfully rustic wholewheat/walnut loaf; 2 creamy little garlic
goats cheeses, some fresh figs, and Parma ham
Hmmmm, and ... ... we spent 'some' time taste-testing various wines in
the marquee set up for it which admittedly cost a few quid to enter but we
enjoyed it immensely and were allowed to take home the wine glass we
tested the wine in - engraved with a yacht and the words Emsworth Food
Festival 2006.

Emsworth is a lovely characterful small town with its own harbour and
apparently the food festival is a yearly event so we shall be going again
next year DV :)

|
Sounds really good there Val, we have those type of foods when the French
Markets come, they are very popular. Do you have them your way?
I liked the pictures looked nice and peaceful.
Aries...
|
Oh yes we have French Markets this way too but haven't been to one yet.
Actually the day out was far from peaceful - too many people LOL

|
We have the French Market here at Bexhill next week-end 16/17th. they were
at Eastbourne last week-end. I think they are very pricey!!
Aries...
|
that's probably why we don't go - I find the Farmers Markets are pricey
too !!
