gone and I don't like the look of that sky. Somebody, somewhere around here
will be getting it worse than me. What I got melted before it hit the ground
and I might have missed it if I hadn't gone to look out the window to see if
an escape route across the trench was going to be possible soon.

Any more of that and you'll find your trench lasts longer
cos the men all go inside saying it's too cold/wet for them
to fill the hole in!

Oh I do hope not. They are still jbexing away and ATM there is a lorry
tipping stuff. Perhaps they are going to fill the trench. I wonder what
happened to the good old tar machines. I loved that smell :-) Oh and after
they fill the trench I hope they are coming to do more 'cos I've just
noticed that a manhole cover is sticking up. I'm definitely not taking my
car out till that's level.

It's been a beautiful day here in the East Midlands so please keep any snow
up your way. The sun has shone all day, there's no wind and the temperature
is higher than it has been for weeks! Really enjoyed walking my old girl
today!
