Children up to the age of 12 depending on their weight must travel in a car
seat. If you pick up your grandchildren from school or anywhere that must
mean you have to buy one for your car, I suppose you won't be able to carry
any more children without one if they have friends with them.

It all sounds very complicated, I wonder how many people will comply with
the rules?
I have often seen mothers with children on their laps in the front seat of
cars!!!

I have always used a seat belts, and sit her and her little friend in the
back of the car whenever I pickup my granddaughter from school, it must be
five years now ;-)

I went and bought 2 booster seats for my 2 granddaughters last week for the
odd occasions I pick them up from school.

A friend was telling me about that yesterday. Her two grandkids are on the
borderline for height but in different cars with different seat belt
positions she reckons they could be more at risk on a booster cushion in
some cars.
