Feeling much better now, a day in bed seems to have worked. No sore
throat, legs don't ache, head feels as if it belongs to me - yep, think
I'm better

I am being double glazed today, or so I've been told.

You couldn't have picked a worse day than when I got double glazing and that
was during the summer. It was blowing a gale and all the cavity wall filler
kept blowing in the house.

I think I've got better weather than that, Sandra, but it's sooooooo cold
here I can't feel my hands or feet.
They've given me permission to have a sauna this afternoon as they're going
to be here until 6pm, so I shall be off to my Club at 2pm.
They ain't 'arf working hard.

The cars in the street had frosted windscreen this morning but there was no
frost on the ground and it didn't feel that cold. After the BYT got out of
bed Walter arrived and it's been lovely and warm out there. Not a WFT to be
seen, Arran looks like it is sitting on the mainland coast and the BYT is
sparkling off the water.

Will do, its no fun while its being done, but it's surprisingly quick
and lovely when its finished.
Hope it goes well - the cats will think they have a gigantic new cat
flap when the old windows come out LOL

So far, so good. Two Polish chappies arrived at 8.30, the cats are now in
the cattery, and the chaps are on their 2nd round of coffee and mince pies.
Gotta look after my male visitors..........

Nice sunny day down here (as usual - lol ) - blue skies and the chill has
vanished. Can't see the smoke today - but is was around yesterday. Hope the
wind dies down so that it can be contained.
Off to w**k shortly - only another week then 2 weeks off :)

Ah but I'm generous to a fault. I enjoy giving :-))
Mind you if anybody else in this house gets it I expect he will take to
